Description

Scot Pump 57122 – 1 HP, 3 Phase, 50/60Hz, 2.5″ x 2.5″ NPT, 1450–1750 RPM

Heavy-Duty All-Bronze Marine Centrifugal Pump – Continuous Duty Performance for Seawater or Freshwater Applications

The Scot Pump 57122 is a premium, American-made centrifugal pump engineered to deliver long-lasting, heavy-duty fluid movement in marine, commercial, and industrial environments. Designed for continuous 24/7 operation, this 1 HP, three-phase, 4-pole motor pump is compatible with both 50 Hz (1450 RPM) and 60 Hz (1750 RPM) frequencies, making it ideal for global marine and mechanical systems.

This model features a heavy-duty all-bronze construction, making it exceptionally resistant to corrosion from both seawater and freshwater. It is available in two versions for maximum compatibility:

  • Style S – Optimized for freshwater applications, includes an alloy bronze sleeve over the motor shaft.

  • Style X – Engineered for seawater use, equipped with a solid cast bronze alloy 954 stub shaft for maximum corrosion resistance.

The semi-open bronze impeller is precision-machined to tight tolerances, allowing for consistent high-performance operation and capable of handling solids up to 5/8 inch. This design is ideal for marine engine cooling, bilge circulation, HVAC systems, and ballast transfer.

The pump features type 316 stainless steel internal hardware and type 300 stainless steel external fasteners for superior durability in harsh environments. It’s equipped with a rugged mechanical shaft seal rated up to 125 PSI, utilizing Buna rubber components, a ceramic stationary element, a carbon rotating face, and seawater-grade stainless steel springs and metals—all designed to withstand high pressure and aggressive fluids.

Motor & Electrical Features

The Scot 57122 uses a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) IP-44 motor, fully compliant with Marine, Coast Guard, and European ignition protection standards.

  • Sealed ball bearings ensure quiet, vibration-free operation.

  • Three-phase models are nine-lead, dual-voltage, supporting:

    • 50 Hz: 190/380V

    • 60 Hz: 230/460V

  • Single-phase versions (available separately) are capacitor-start and must be ordered specifically for either 50 Hz (110/220V) or 60 Hz (115/230V).

With 2.5″ x 2.5″ NPT ports, the pump supports high-flow applications while maintaining compact integration in tight machinery spaces.

Whether installed on a yacht, in a commercial HVAC loop, or on an industrial system, the Scot Pump 57122 is built for maximum uptime, minimal maintenance, and rugged performance in the most demanding applications.
