SMXII-AB Control Display

Cruisair SMXII-AB Control Display – also called SMXIIab, SMX II ab, has a noncorrosive ABS cover and soft – touch membrane switches. (Cover Sold Separately)

Works with the Cruisair SMX II Circuit boards.

The large, easy-to-read digital display shows setpoint or cabin temperature and also is used to give information on operating parameters and fault code warnings.

The user can select cooling only, heating only, or automatic changeover between cooling and heating.

Fan speed is automatically controlled, or can be manually set.

The system’s nonvolatile memory retains all user-programmed settings, even when the power is switched off.

The dehumidification program ensures, even when no one is aboard, the boat stays dry, eliminating mold, mildew and odor.

This display replaces original Cruisair displays used in SMX control systems. All displays have the original four pin display cable jack on the back of the display. This is an all new replacement module that includes the buttons and electronics needed to communicate with the control board.

The DX version is used in directly connected compressor systems and features button labels printed directly on the buttons. Faceplate is not included nor available.

The TW version is used in tempered or chilled water systems. These systems use a water loop containing glycol or fresh water to supply the air handler controlled by this display. Button functions are printed on an overlay that covers the display and not on the buttons. The overlay feature can be used to distinguish this version from the DX version. The overlay and faceplate and not available nor included.

The SMXII-AB display has a noncorrosive ABS cover and soft-touch membrane switches. All keys are clearly labeled, making operation simple. The large, easy-to-read digital display shows set-point or cabin temperature and also is used to give information on operating parameters and fault code warnings. Small LEDs are used to indicate system status.

For normal operation, it is only necessary to turn the system on and select the desired set-point. The user can select cooling only, heating only, or automatic changeover between cooling and heating. Fan speed is automatically controlled, or can be manually set. Factory settings may be changed, with user-programmable commands, permitting the boat-owner to fine-tune the system for personal preferences. Programming modes are accessed by pressing special combinations of keys.
