SMXir Control display / keypad. OEM control display for Cruisair ®, Dometic ® and Micro Air, SMXir keypad. Smart, condensed housing with easy surface-mount installation. The large, easy-to-read LED displays cabin temperature, set point, programming prompts, and fault code warnings, and small LEDs and backlit text indicate system status. Compatible with legacy A-281, A-282 (SMX Online), and A-288 (SMXII) power/logic boards.

The SMX ir control display/keypad has a smart, condensed housing with easy surface-mount installation. A large, easy-to-read LED displays cabin temperature, setpoint, programming prompts, and fault code warnings, and small LEDs and backlit text indicates system status. Under an attractive hinged door is the familiar 10-button arrangement with clearly labeled keys for single-keystroke operation.

An optional infrared remote control is offered that permits system adjustment to be made remotely. Specifically designed for the marine environment, the SMXir display/keypad features a plastic housing, sealed membrane keypad, and electronics with anti-corrosion coating.

Digital Control for Direct Expansion and Tempered Water Air Conditioning

The SMXir keypad/display and optional remote control work with both DX microprocessor control systems offered by Cruisair – SMX II and SMX Net. SMX II logic systems offer all the standard operational and safety features required for most Direct Expansion systems. SMX Net logic systems add networking capability and other special features that make it unique in the industry. The SMX II or SMX Net power/logic board comes installed on the designated self-contained unit or condensing unit. Either logic system can be retrofitted in the field to replace an electromechanical switch assembly.
